Lyophilizer is composed of refrigeration system, vacuum system, heating system, electrical instrument control system. The main components are drying oven, condenser, freezing unit, vacuum pump, heating/cooling device, etc. Freeze-drying, or freeze-drying for short, is a method of first freezing water-containing substances into a solid state, and then sublimating the moisture from the solid state into a gaseous state to remove the moisture and preserve the substances.
For the use of Lyophilizers, inspection before use is a very critical step. Don't think that you can operate the Lyophilizer without inspection. Here is a reminder!
Lyophilizer companies combined with actual use experience, explore new processes, and continue to develop toward the trend of large-scale, high-strength, high-economic, product quality, after-sales service is steadily improving, to avoid some improper operation and failure or have to do a good check:
Before starting the Lyophilizer every time, first check if the pump oil in the vacuum pump is sufficient. Unscrew the drain valve and let the remaining water flow out. Tighten the valve after draining;
Check whether the contact part between the freeze-drying chamber and the cold trap is intact, clean and readjust if necessary;
Close all valves. Close the valve that the cold trap and vacuum pump want to connect. Turn on the cold trap power switch and the vacuum pump power switch. After 15 minutes, open the valve that connects the cold trap to the vacuum pump. After 1 minute, you can hang the pre-frozen sample (already in the lyophilization bottle) on the bracket, and open the corresponding valve to start the lyophilization process;
After freeze-drying, close the corresponding valve (white knob up) and remove the freeze-drying bottle. After all lyophilized bottles are removed, turn off the vacuum pump power supply and cold trap power supply in turn;
After the frost in the cold trap melts, open the drain valve to drain, and then close.
